SW Randolph is headed to the regional with great expectations

ASHEBORO, NC - October 11, 2011 - SW Randolph's Coach Kelly Knowles is excited about her team. As the sesson is winding down Coach Knowles had this to say about her team and herself. "This season has gone very well I believe.  The girls are improving each match and gaining confidence with every shot.  They are playing at the top of their games going into Regionals in a week.  I am looking forward to seeing how they do!"

"One thing I have learned over the past couple of months when coaching golf is that it is 90 percent mental and the other 10 percent is skill.  All of these girls have the skill but their mental game is what often holds Coach Kelly Knowlesthem back.  I try to encourage them to take the shot they are confident with and to always believe in their skill.  If they have a bad hole, they just have to let it go because the next hole is a new one.  I admire their work ethic on the course.  My job as a coach is to help them focus sometimes, but often to remind them to just relax."<>
