Mt. Pleasant Moves to the top in the S. Piedmont 3A

HUNTERSVILLE, NC - September 16 - Skybrook Golf Club - On Thursday, Sep 16th Cox Mill hosted the 4th match in the SPC conference schedule.  The match was played at Skybrook Golf Club in Huntersville.  When teams arrived they were given a slight surprise, as the plans to play the match on the front nine were altered and we were sent off the

back nine.  Skybrook is a difficult course for the girls, with the large elevation changes and, like many local courses at this time of year, very thick rough and aerated greens. 

If you were keeping score this day, it would be the course one and the ladies zero.  Still some fine golf shots were made.  Additionally, the conference adds a new team.  JM Robinson was able to finally find a coach, Coach Rodger Jones, and eight very eager young ladies.  Se welcome to the SPC Girls Golf Conference.  Other team news, Kannapolis will see their team grow to three players as Brianna Zaino and Bailey Vernon join the Wonders Team.
