Our next match was Thursday, Sept 30th at Skybrook Golf Club.  You could say this match was won by the golf course.  The recent rains made the holes play even longer for the girls but they did their best in tough conditions.  Leading the way and taking over solo first place in the team race was Concord High School.  Their team score of 152 was one better than Mt Pleasant’s 153.  Again in third was Cox Mill with a score of 160 followed by JM Robinson at 179 and Kannapolis at 184.  Team scoring leaders we Sarah Bertram (C) at 40, Rebecca Mirovich (MP) at 43, Kira Aiken (CM) at 49, Crysta Camara (JM) at 56 and Kelsey Gibson (K) 60.

This week (October 4-8) we have two matches.  The first will be Tuesday, Oct 5th at Green Oaks and then Wednesday, Oct 6 at Cabarrus Country Club.   

The Conference Tournament has finally found a home but not a date.  Cabarrus Country Club has agreed to host the event the week of October 18th but the actual date has not been set. 

We are also gearing up for the North Carolina 1A/2A/3A Central Region Girls Championship.  This event is scheduled at Skybrook Golf Club on October 25th.  Tee times are being formulated but they will begin at 8:30am using both #1 and #10.
