Hickory Edges Watauga for the Victory
BOONE, NC – September 21, 2010 - Boone Country Club – The Red Tornadoes brings back to Hickory their first victory of the season by edging Watauga by one stroke. Leading the Red Tornadoes to their first victory was Bree Keller with a round of 40.

Helping Keller bring home the victory was team mate Logan Morris with a 44. Hickory placed two golfers in the top five.Leading the charge for Watauga was Savanna Wood who also won the

medalist honors with a round of 39. Carrie Hayes helped Wood put up a good battle against Hickory with a 48.  

The whole match was up for grabs as only two strokes separated first place from last place. Alexander Central and South Caldwell tied for third at 142 each. In matches like this every stroke counts. Click here for the full leaderboard....      Back to the top......
